Chelsea Baker is both a yoga and Pilates instructor who brings strength, flow, and authenticity to every class she teaches. Her teaching journey began in yoga, where she trained in power vinyasa and yoga sculpt before adding Pilates to her practice. For Chelsea, Pilates felt like the natural next step — she had been practicing on and off for nearly a decade and loved the elegance, strength, and confidence it gave her body. When she discovered the teacher training program at Breathe Pilates, she knew the timing was right to deepen her practice and share it with others.
Chelsea currently teaches power vinyasa, yoga sculpt, and soon restorative yoga at CorePower Yoga studios in Highlands, Tennyson, and LoHi. Her background as a yoga teacher enriches her Pilates teaching, helping her guide students with clear, mindful cues, offer modifications for every body, and create classes that are both challenging and safe.
What Chelsea loves most about Pilates is the balance of intensity and grace — the way it makes the body feel powerful while moving with beauty and flow. She encourages her students to listen to their bodies, take it slow in the beginning, and trust that the benefits are worth it.
Outside of teaching, Chelsea enjoys a lifestyle full of movement, practicing everything from Pilates and barre to functional training and long walks. A vegan of nearly 14 years, she lives with deep compassion for animals and stays grounded by carving out time for herself, her partner, family, and friends. Her favorite colors shift with the seasons (and her hair), but she’s currently drawn to coppery reds, oranges, and timeless black.
Her classes reflect who she is: strong yet approachable, passionate yet balanced, and always committed to helping others feel their best.
