Isabele Sanden is the owner and CEO of Breathe Pilates & Wellness, an elite studio in Golden, Colorado, specializing in the Fletcher Pilates method and cancer-exercise training. A Colorado native and third-generation Fletcher Pilates teacher, Isabele trained under Teresa Chickore at Pilates Into Life in Seattle, Washington. She is certified in all forms of Pilates equipment, including mat, reformer, tower, barre, and floor work, and holds additional certifications in pre- and post-natal Pilates, rehabilitation Pilates, and cancer-exercise movement. Before opening her studio, she worked in the medical field as a top anti-infective and analgesic specialist and trainer for Ortho McNeil/Johnson & Johnson.
A breast cancer survivor herself, Isabele underwent a double mastectomy and experienced many of the side effects that come with treatment and recovery. She credits her Pilates background with helping her avoid and overcome many of those challenges, which inspired her to open Breathe Pilates & Wellness to serve others—especially cancer survivors—seeking to rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence through mindful movement. Her teaching philosophy centers on the Fletcher Pilates approach, emphasizing breath-driven movement, core stability, balance, and grace.
Through her studio, she partners with the Core Compassion Project, a nonprofit that provides Pilates scholarships for breast cancer recovery. She also co-authored Essential Exercises for Breast Cancer Survivors, further cementing her role as an advocate for movement-based healing. Outside of her work, Isabele is a mother of three active children and enjoys golf, dance, skiing, and horseback riding. She continues to empower individuals to restore their health, reconnect with their bodies, and rediscover their vitality after illness or injury.
